So, I'm a huge fan of RHPS. I would love to be able to see it at the con. If I have a Saturday Badge, can I get in? Or do I have to have a sunday/all-weekend badge? I wasn't planning on attending all weekend...only saturday. Just curious...

That's a good question! Thanks for asking it. Well, I'd say that your Saturday badge is good until registration re-opens on Sunday, so until about 10:00 a.m. Sunday. That's fair because people who buy Sunday-only badges can't buy them until 10:00 a.m. Sunday, so any time before that is still Saturday.

Wow I've never seen it, though I've heard it's really good. (Parents say its weird, but they think most things I like are weird. *cough*anime*cough*)

No. It's definately weird. The film makes little-to-no sense, but somehow we all enjoy watching it.

Ok...thank you. That's great. And it makes total sense. I just wanted to be sure before I got my hopes up.
And yes, RHPS is probably one of the weirdest things most people will see in their lives (( I do say MOST for a reason, however...wink wink)), but that's why we love it.

So, just a question, is there an 18+ policy this year again? I know a few 17 year olds that were possibly gonna' go, maybe I can save them a boot to the head. (o.o);

Actually, it will be 17+ because it's only R-rated.

Alright... What if you have your parents permission to go into the Rocky Horror Picture Show... I mean your parent is there at the convention with you. Can you still get in even though you're not 17?

If your parents go into the Rocky Horror Picture Show with you and stay with you, we can't do much about it, but I would STRONGLY caution younger kids from going because it can get extremely raunchy. Your parents would not like the fact that you're going, which is why we will doubt things that are signed by your "parents" (not to say that you're dishonest, but I'm pretty sure anyone's parents who have been to RHPS would be wary of sending their kids to it).

In normal movie theaters someone younger can go to a Rated R movie if there is someone 17+ with them. Would you be able to get in if you have 17+ people with you?

I'm not talking about younger kids. I'm talking about high schoolers. Not little kids. I mean people who are mature enough to know what the movie is about and are able to handle it. LIke people around 16 years old want to go.

They can come with you, but they can't just send you with a note or stand at the door and say, "She can go in." It's just like an R-rated movie. BUUUUUT... the people who are actually running it may have another policy because of the content of THEIR show. I'm just basing it on merely the showing of the film. They do a show that goes with it that they may only want people over 18 at PERIOD. They haven't given us much information on their policies. It was a bit of a last-minute addition.

Yes the people would be going in too. So basicly your saying that either, they are going to have it go by the regular policy and let people under 17 in if they have a person 17+ with them, OR they will only let people 18+ in, no mattter what?

We'll just have to see. RHPS is RAUNCHY when put on as a live show like this, probably raunchier than any 18+ panel we'll have (except without graphic images). It's up to the people performing it to go by their policy, BUT they at least have to keep with the policy that is legal OUTSIDE the convention, which is that you have to have a guardian of some sort with you at an R-rated movie. Remember, whatever is illegal outside Anime St. Louis is illegal inside Anime St. Louis.
