Yeah. We heard about that. Dumb people are everywhere, and occasionally they wander into conventions.

I'm almost thinking this is something they put in the alcohol at the Sheraton. The guy who did that to your friend was drinking at the Sheraton before he wandered into the wrong hotel. The guy who broke into the little girl's room last week at the Ritz-Carlton down the street had also been drinking at the Sheraton. Ugh. Remind me never to go to the Sheraton.

I made sure to use the locking bar-thingly in my hotel room precisely because of that story about the guy breaking into the wrong room.
And then it took me three tries to get it open when I was trying to get out of the room when the fire alarm went off. XD I hope everybody enjoyed my purple cat pajamas. :PPP
Other than being routed out of bed at 12:15 this morning to stand outside in the cold (Yes, I'm a wuss, I actually go to my hotel room and sleep at night when I'm at cons), I had a great time. I enjoyed the programming I went to and didn't run into any problems with the hotel or staff.
It was kind of distracting to have people singing karaoke right outside the door from the tea ceremony on Saturday morning. I don't know what that was all about. The tea ceremony was lovely in spite of the distraction, though.

My friend and I were asleep when the alarm went off but the alarm in our room didn't go off. Thank God heavens friends that care. If it wasn't for my friend Erika we would have never known.
