I plan/want to host a lolita tea party at this coming kawakon, but would like to know the number of people interested before I submit it as a panel. I don't really want to host a panel for 4 attendees. Lolita attire is not mandatory but nice clothing (like, no wife beaters and holey jeans) is desirable. Lolita would be given priority for spots at the tea. Basically, this would be open to all people who would like to attend in nice clothing, enjoy some chit-chat and tea and cookies/goodies. This event is obviously open to all types of lolita as well as those whom would simply come dressed nicely. Post to let me know if you would plan on attending or not so I know if this would be a good idea!

Well, at Kawa Kon 09 we had atleast 20-25 lolitas, if not more. I'm sure there were more actually. So this would be an ideal panel!

What about a Ciel cosplayer? I really prefer the Kodona style...I don't wear women's clothes often...

This would definately be welcome if I were to host the panel! ^___^ (I <3 Kuroshitsuji, but besides the point) The only requirement I have would be that people weren't just coming to get some free foodage-- as in, at least look decent and have an interest in the style. ^___^ I <3 the kodona style as well.

Kodona is my favorite. Because while I love the style of lolita. I, myself, don't like to dress like a girl...

I remember when I was in lolita style. We often had tea parties with some of my friends who were into it as well. Im a dedicated gyaru now tho, and Im sure gyaru wouldnt be welcome at a lolita tea party. =_= Though a tea party would certainly take me back! As long as Im not doing the ParaPara/Trapara tutorial panels and the Galcir-Shibuya fashion panels or the Vampire Knight panel, I will probably try to come! Hopefully I can get out of my manba (or I may do banba...:/ Dunno yet..) make and into my old lolita dress, then I will certainly come for old times' sake!!

I think it's a fabulous idea. We had a lot of lolitas at the con last year and just one panel for them. We also have a BJD picnic this year, so if you send in a panelist form with information about this event, I'll schedule it so that it doesn't conflict with that. Many lolitas also have BJDs.

*nod**nod* ABJDs are the way to go. xD lol I remember Natsucon had a Ball Jointed Doll/Lolita tea party, and it was just awesome! The two actually blend together very well. It would be great having both events at Kawa Kon. Its also neat to have two different fashion style events going on as well. So people new to them can learn about both styles. ^.^ Horray for mind broadening!
