the game room for 2011 sucked, six screens and only 1 xbox was running, and all that was ever played was super smash and marvel vs. capcom, i'm sorry but not everybody likes to play fighting games.

Well SSBB and MVC is what everyone else WANTED to play, if you wanted to play something else you needed to walk up to one of the gaming staff and tell them so. They would have of hooked you up with the game you wanted (if they had it there). Then again I wasn't in the gaming room at all during it's opening hours of the con, only late at night when it was closed and hung out with the other staff. So I'm not 100% sure on this.

that's the problem they didn't have any even remotely decent games on hand to play, and as for only late at night when it was closed and hung out with the other staff. So I'm not 100% sure on this. i think this is bull SHYTE, last year we were allowed to come in and play with some of the staff, this year i got a fraggin door slammed in my face.

No one should be in the room after it's closed except the staff and any volunteers who are cleaning the room. I made that clear this year because of things getting stolen in past years during after hours time.

Actually most of the time we had almost all 3 xboxs running, just not everyone played them. As for the games, the games we had were the games that most people wanted. i am sorry that you didn't see a game there you wanted to play, you should post a list of the games you want to see next year, and we will see what we can do to accomdate. As for the room after hours, it was closed to the attendees simply because it gave the few staff members who wanted to have a place to unwind, a place to do that. Everyone that was in the gaming room after hours was personally invited by me, Jarf, the gaming chair. I'm sorry that the door got slammed in your face, but from this year on, when the game room is closed, it is closed to the attendees.

as for the after hours thing it's alright, i'm not upset anymore, and the game that i would have liked to have seen was call of duty, black ops, modern warfare 2, something, heck even just for nazi zombies would have been great.

we had 2 copies of Halo Reach that got played maybe once or twice. We had requested Call of Duty Black ops and Modern Warfare from Slackers, but they couldn't get it to us in time. However, now that I know that is a requested game, we have plenty of time to make a request for it, as long as Slackers sponsors the room again. Not sure how that is going to turn out since a couple of items did get stolen.

what got stolen, games, or something more expensive, ...... you can never assure anyone that nothing will get stolen, people are dumb, people will try to take thing, some succeed, most do not. the best you can do is try to catch, or thwart all would be thivese before they can even attpemt to take anything, if at all the most fun thing i can think of is, just for kicks, i have a multi camera security system that they use in banks, just sitting around, hook it up and watch everyone like the children they so eagerly seem to act like.

DnD would be nice too, and also Go. They said there would be Go last year but the guy never showed up, or was busy, or something...

I know we did Go two years ago (with someone to teach it), and last year, there were a couple sets in the pickup games. I'm not sure if anyone's doing D&D this year.
