A sari wouldn't be difficult to make and Jasmine doesn't really wear a sari. Her's is more a belly dancer's outfit.

A sari is just a long piece of fabric that you can buy at a lot of fabric stores. It's listed as 'sari fabric'. Go to Joann's or somewhere like that. The choli (sari blouse) is a bit more difficult to make but there are tons of great tutorials if you google it. http:// www.learnstitching.com/2008/10/stitch-blouse. html ~how to make the blouse, step by step. There is also a wrap that goes under it, but it's basically a slip. If you want to make some pants like Jasmines, then print out the pattern on here: http:// media.colettepatterns.com/free/patterns/colette-patterns-0001-bloomers. pdf -it shouldn't be too hard to adjust the pant length your self. I sewed a casing and stuck some elastic in there, and it would be good for a Jasmine costume. They'll come out absolutely adorable!

Or instead of drafting a choli pattern (drafting = pain in the ass, or maybe I'm just lazy) you could get an old t-shirt or buy one from Goodwill or something. Get a tighter one, not a loose t-shirt, and rip it apart. Instant pattern! Just change the front a little bit and you're done.
