Just popping in to wish everyone an awesome Halloween. I dressed up as a bloody Alice (though no one really understood why I was bloody...) kinda doing a mix of American McGee's Alice/Disney's Alice. Cosplaying to class is awesome!
My girlfriend is dressed up as a zombie hatter based off the Tim Burton version. We came up with a little story to go along with our cosplay.
Alice was angry with the Hatter and stabbed him through with the vorpal blade because she was tired of him asking why a raven was like a writing desk. Now she carries a chainsaw in her little white basket...
For mine the Alice dress was taken (since the apron was yellowing and was planned for a remake anyway) and slashes were cut into it with scissors. Then fake blood was splattered onto the apron and dress and there are some hand prints where the Hatter "grabbed her." The rest of the cosplay consists of a thick, heavy metal bracelet, a black cross necklace, black hair bow, black and white striped stockings, and dirty black heels.
The Hatter was an old cosplay coat that was tossed aside that was also slashed up and covered with blood and bloody handprints. One of the sleeves are missing. There's one of those knifes that look likes she's "stabbed" attached to the jacket. The undershirt is also ripped and bloody. The top hat is a simple black hat that was dirtied. She did do the white makeup.
So are you guys cosplaying today? Or doing something super special awesome for Halloween?

I wore my dirndl to work and Maladict from Monstrous Regiment to Tricia Overcamp's party at night. Maladict needed some more wear, and I met quite a few Discworld fans at the party, one that was ecstatic that I was cosplaying from it. Overall, a good choice.
